Why, when I go to bed and it is too warm to sleep properly, do I wake up cold and my back is freezing, even though the room temperature has only sunk by about 0.1°C?

I know sleeping causes your body temperature to drop regardless of the room temperature. Maybe in your case that drop is significant?

For some bizzare reason, my wife is exactly the opposite.

For women it depends on time of month usually.

Don't be a whistle blower. It just won't end well.

Stepanova banned by the IOC from competing in Rio, is the latest in a long line of slapped faces for those who should be appreciated not denigrated.

I can confirm from experience that one person can have more basic decency than tens, maybe hundreds, of others. It's the retarded herd mentality - nobody else is rocking the boat, I won't risk it.

Why consoles and telly boxes still have relatively small hard drives.
I mean, seriously, 500GB isn't unusual still and you pay a fairly hefty premium for something with 1TB even now. 2TB is only recently starting to be a capacity point in consumer boxes and again attracts a fairly hefty premium, certainly more than the increase in capacity warrants.

Desktop drives are pushing 8 to 10 TB now.

If nothing else the sheer amount of boxes that need drives now and advent of SSD should have brought those spinning plates crashing down...

Going to London for four nights tomorrow. For some reason it feels like packing to go abroad.

And I'm worried I've forgotten to pack something.

Chargers? iPad/laptop? Sunglasses? Shaving bag?

Chargers is something I forgot last time. When I had the iPhone 4S, I had about 3-4 chargers. Now I've got the 6S, I have only one charger. I need more.
Shaving/toiletries bag is already packed.
Sunglasses - good call.

I've printed out the hotel reservation as it was through laterooms.
TBH the only thing I really need is a suit for afternoon tea at the Ritz. Anything and everything else I can buy if needed.

Chargers - USB plugs and cables from the pound shop. The cables are even those braided ones now. We've any number of them in work and they haven't failed yet.
