Anti-fraud carries a lot of responsibility and you will meet a lot of people who will try and pull the wool over your eyes, so it probably isn't a wonder that they were hard on you in the interview. If the candidate can't cope in the interview, how are they going to be when the pressure is really on and they are facing swindlers?

Just a thought.

How is it you can be working all through the day, but when somebody vaguely important comes in you're having a chat?

It's a good point, but my role would not be customer facing. I do understand though, that I may have to confront difficult situations with staff and/or customer complaints on the odd times I did need to speak to them, but I've had that in other roles and not had such a rough interview. I guess different companies do it different ways. Just have to play the waiting game now.

Edit: but you're right in that it is known as a stern department so I should've expected it really!

Train strikes. Working from home next Tuesday. 15% of my salary goes on transport and they still want to make it more expensive.

Batman's live action trailer is a bit... Hmm | GamesRadar
http://www.gamesradar.com/dont-be-batma ... n-trailer/

I think it does a brilliant job of selling both Batman as a character and the game. And the honest truth is, many people will fight back even if the odds are dodgy. I can see that it comes across a bit 90's though in terms of video game advertising!

I think it should have stopped at the bit where you see Batman. It's kind of what Nolan's Batman was about - to inspire people.

Oh stop bitching. I'd hate to think how much I've spent on travel in the 28 years I've been commuting

Anyway train strikes have been cancelled
