About to go and see Derren Brown at the local theatre. I wish I wasn't feeling so tired.

My Mister's been at work today, helping get things ready for the Milwaukee trailer to leave next Friday and got home at about 17:00. I was sitting up in bed reading the latest issue of "Ukulele Player" magazine and keeping warm (our house gets very cold during the day.) When he got home he changed out of his garage clothes and hopped into bed with me to warm up, we exchanged Valentines cards and chatted a bit, then fell fast asleep and stayed that way until 20:30 My Mister has a cold which is making him feel rough, but it was just so wamr and cosy in bed that we were both out like lights. We've woken up and got up now, hot cups of tea with ginger nut dunkers are bringing us slowly to life, but we both feel as though we could just get back in bed and fall right back to sleep again with no trouble at all. I guess we are more tired than we thought?!

I've blown my road bike up. The electrode of the spark plug melted off, and got stuck in the exhaust port (it's a two-stroke). The piston then hit this and siezed up, which isn't good at all, never mind the fact that I was doing 60mph at the time... I pulled up, and the bike started. Which was weird, as the back wheel had just locked at 60mph. I managed to limp it to the end of the A-road where I was, and ended up pushing the bike for about 10 miles when it finally gave up the ghost. I'm not happy at all. It's going to cost me like £180 in parts now. Twatting bugger.

I've just emailed a complaint to British Gas... I phoned them at 09:30 this morning to report that the meter wasn't working and was told that an engineer would be with us within 4 hours. 5 1/2 hours later I phoned them again, and was told that the first person hadn't even boked an engineer visit! Not good enough! We should be receiving a visit within 3 hours... we'll see Update: The engineer has just been. It seems that the battery is going in the meter, and I'll have to contact British Gas again on Monday to organise a meter replacement. Still, the gas is back on, so I'm off to cook something!

http://gallery.me.com/wright.is#100101& ... &view=gridThe house is starting to look finished... New pictures at the end, kitchen pretty much finished, although the installer is taking his time and has left the channel for the extractor fan open for all to see. We will probably put a wooden façade in front of it, to clean it up. Also, two small strips left and right of the cooker, to cover up where he took the tiles away... We put up the new light fitting in the dining area today. And our bedroom is pretty much finished - although the draw unit will probably be swapped out, as it looks out of place, against the rest of it.

Derren Brown was brill. Had I been an inch taller, one of his frisbees would've hit me, but the man behind me caught it instead. Great show, really enjoyed it. There was a fat bloke in the audience who clearly hadn't had a beer before, and as it turns out had been on 'Come Dine With Me' and thought this entitled him to special treatment. So the Duty Manager had to baby sit him in the second half. Anyway, it was a great show and I hope it's televised for you poor lot.

ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!! My God!! Why are Neanderthal's still around? 10p for a pot of sauce is not a lot, there's no need to slam your fists on the counter, insult us, swear at us, and I quote, "You [LIFTED] [LIFTED]"...Jesus....let's lay off the steroids shall we? And stop compensating for your lack of size-able penis...

So did they say [LIFTED] then? I'm guessing students or just Bratty's favourite kind of people

Was some late 20's, early 30's gym junkie, that felt, that he, was entitled to something for free....and decided the way he was going to get it was to threaten me, shout, and be a general male chicken...
