Seen that before and I think I'm going to use it when I leave this company.

i just reapplied the thermal interface material on my motherboards northbridge and VRMs (did the southbridge earlier) temps are a little lower already, even though the Artic Silver 5 hasn't burnt in yet :D

ive been having trouble overclocking my rig (in sig) past 3.8GHz, and i think its either unstable voltage or FSB thats limiting, even if its not this should help system stability no end :)

I just picked up a voicemail from a customer that went something like...

"Hi, John here, I'm having a very odd issue whereby when I press some letters numbers appear instead - I've tried everything and simply cannot get the letters to come back."

Ok, he might not know he's put number lock on - or even have worked out what the issue was, but surely he's restarted?

Call him back....

"Hi John, Dave here, just checking if you've still got the issue?"
"I don't Dave, I've managed to solve it with a restart but it really was very odd - I mean numbers instead of letters what's all that about?! I still can't work out how this happened. Have you ever experience this before?"
"I think you might've just had number lock on there John - can yo- "
"Well then why was it only happening on some letters?!"
"Well because only some letters have associated numbers - can you see a number on the letter H?"
"Oh yes - yes I can - thanks, bye"
*Phone down*

Oh well - your ignorance is my job security.
