heteronyms are both heterophon and homographs  heterophone mean "sounds different" when homograph means "same writing" lol

Yes, I got that from your and Edd's post. The bloke I linked to seems to think that all true homographs must also be heterophonic, which is why I posted the link. I suspect he's being esoteric though:

Looks like I'm going to need to see a dentist for the first time in 3 or 4 years soon. One of my teeth has run out of space and been forced to grow inwards which is playing hell with the relevant gum

Has discovered that FreeSat will allow me to get BBC Wales and S4C even where I live so I can watch the rugby.
