"The trail of the lonesome pine" is going to sound great on Ukelele, not the least of which will be because I can do all the silly voices :D

In the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia …
I'll always remember Laurel & Hardy's version of that. In fact, I'm not even sure that I've heard any other version of it! (8+D

That's the one I'm learning. I'm lucky enough to have the range to manage all the parts 8-)

Here comes another rough patch...

Yet again I find myself completely unfulfilled by life - bored by my job and my everyday activities. Even the highs of drinking and partying have become the same old same old. (Mostly because I use the later to ignore the former)

New country, new life, new friends, new excitement. It all lasted for a while - but I'm drifting back to wondering what the point of it all is...

Don't mean to bring you down - but this is how I feel, recommendations on how to change are most welcome.

Take up something new that takes a long time to master. Considering your location you have many options at your doorstep.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Sounds like a business opportunity if I ever saw one.

How old are you Mr Blue?

One of my bookface 'frends' has been coming out with some corkers lately, probably nicked from the net but inspirational all the same:

It takes guts to get out of the ruts The only space we need to conquer is the space between our ears. Worrying is like a rocking chair - it will give you something to do but it wont get you anywhere. It's the weather in your mind that determines the climate of the day.

We don't have good days we make good days. If the going gets too easy you may be going down hill.
