I logged on and got a pop up telling me you had added me and I accepted it so it was probably that. I also noted the lack of message function although you can invite people to your game even if you're playing offline which I thought was good. I didn't invite you though as you're lvl 37 which is a bit high for me. We should start new chars that we only play when both of us are online. That way we will have a complete coop game together. What do you say? I've only had a go with the hunter and the siren so I'd like to use one of the others.

Cool, I'll add you tonight. What do you think about creating an X404 co-op game? For chars only to be used in the co-op game itself.

Sounds ok. We'll get friended up and go from there.

Sounds ok. We'll get friended up and go from there.[/quote] Everything sounds fine, however as i've said before, it's getting rather busy approaching the end of the first term so i'm not sure how much time i'd be able to commit. Originally when i started Borderlands it was because i had 2 other mates who were getting it and we initially played at the same times, but due to various reasons, we've not managed another session with all 3 of us since either one of us could be missing. I'm not saying i'd not be up for it, just that i already know how hard organising this sort of thing can be .

If we can get enough of us friended up, there's more chance that at least one of us will be able to play co-op with at least one x404-er!

Same here. You get an invite, you say yes, it counts down to 0 and then that's it.

We had that initially, it's a case to do with ports not being forwarded, you have to forward ports 7777, 27900, 28900, 28910 and 28902 on the router. Also sometimes the first time you create a game the person won't be able to join, so just create the game, exit, create it again and it should be fine.

Thanks vdbswong, I'll set those ports. I finally got to Dahl Headlands although I need to do a few more missions in Arid Badlands before I start in there. Just got to level 19 and finally found a replacement for my lvl 6 SMG I had a 13 - 76 - 6.9 SMG with 3X incendiary chance. I replaced it with a 28 - 73 - 6.9 with 2X explosive chance. (I'm considering respeccing to elmental to gain an advantage from the guns).

What's it like? Gutted that it's not out for PC yet . Wonder how they'll ship it on the PC... whether it'll be a free patch (relatively easy to provide) or if they'll have to DLC it somehow...

I'm sure it'll find its way over somehow, most likely delivered through the gamespy servers. If it's a free download it should be easy. If they want money for it, they may wait and do it on disc like Oblivion when they have enough downloadable content to justify it...?
