The Brtish Heart Foundation has just launched its first annual digital photography competition (though hopefully film shooters won't really be excluded).
The competition is open to all ages. Prizes include following a Getty photography for the 'student' entry winner, featuring in a big launch display in London and possibly being published in the Independent on Sunday newspaper, plus more, see here for full prize list.
More information here.

I thought about a picture featuring the missus for this competition. She's a cardiac nurse too so I thought it would have a bit of extra meaning for her. The thing is I submitted a picture (naked) to a photo magazine and they put it in the readers section. She's not happy. Not at all. Maybe its because I didnt tell her? Whoops. Well.... you cant see 'anything' anyway.

I'm not sure my idea for this would work as it doesn't contain any people in it. *shrug*

Mine would. It just can't happen. Too much cost/effort/time. Boohoo!
