   | Bloody hell! Guy Ritchie? This is the worst piece of movie news so far. Hopefully Sherlock Holmes will flop in such a spectacular fashion that he'll not be allowed near a film set ever again. I read somewhere that the Holmes film has a tone similar to Lethal Weapon, so something to look forward to there _________________

   | I know, hard to have faith re. Lobo there, isn't it? It maybe came about cos his mate Vaughan (Stardust, Layer Cake, upcoming Kick Ass) got quite far with Thor or something... See, since I probably couldn't personally sit through a 'proper' Holmes, a LW-style one might suit me better. I don't really see it being enough of a hit either way tbh, and I'm just not that interested anyway _________________Plain English advice on everything money, purchase and service related:

   | Another horror movie remake? Yes, but perhaps one of the few that might possibly be worth doing, George Romero's 1973 movie The Crazies, which tells the story of a small US town whose population become homicidal and turn on each other for no apparent reason. It's only when the army turn up (never a good sign) that it is revealed that something dubious has infected the town's water supply.... The original film was hampered by a very low budget and horrendous acting so perhaps a remake is justifiable in this case. Good poster anyway: _________________

   | I think you're right...it will suck: 1. Lobo teams with a small town teenaged girl to stop the creatures. Yes, that sounds about right 2. WB is aiming for a PG-13 rating. 3. Pic will be strong on visual effects. 4. Ritchie What more could go wrong?_________________

   | It's not often I'd defend Ritchie, but I'd be amazed if the role of the girl just winds up being some cutesy thing. I'd expect it may be something similar in tone to when Lobo met Supergirl recently in the comics... Although she hit Lobo for trying to look up her skirt I'd like to reiterate I don't have much faith at this point though _________________Plain English advice on everything money, purchase and service related:
