Sir Bobby Robson has died. I don't know a single football fan, regardless of the club they support, who had anything at all bad to say about the man. Given the way the current generation of footballers seem to behave, I don't think we'll see his like again soon. Jon

Yes, but you're missing the point. I have probably not heard of most, (if not all) of the "thousands of people" who will die today, but I have heard of Sir Bob, and like many others admired both his managerial skills and his attitude, both during his career and whilst he repeatedly battled cancer. The fact that I've not heard one bad word about him, (before his death) means that he was probably a nice guy who is going to be missed. Mainly by football fans? Possibly.
