There's a second Alien : Covenant prologue been released. It explains a bit of what has been released in trailers, but for the spoiler sensitive among us I'll not detail any of that, just follow the link if you're interested enough. Mark

Went and saw Guardians of the Galaxy 2 over the BH weekend
We really loved GotG1 but this was not nearly as good. It seemed “forced” and while still OK (with good effects and big explosions etc.) not hnearly as good and a bit to long
So I would give it a 3/5 at best (if you enjoyed the 1st one )

I wonder how this is related to Whedon getting the Batgirl gig, if at all. WB tends to do deals with it's directors.

‘Silver and Black’ Spider-Man Spin-Off Film Finds Its Director http://sciencefiction.com/2017/05/25/si ... -director/Sony seem absolutely determined to go for the female vote (every female character associated with Spidey was previously considered, right up to Aunt May ffs), but with all the nous of a badly written computer algorithm. It's highly unlikely they'll risk putting one-note Black Cat anywhere near Spidey yet, and Silver Sable is normally a full-on action merc, so I'm guessing this will be another lame-ass comedy like the GB reboot. ... James Wan Produces More Horror As He Tackles The ‘Resident Evil’ Reboot http://sciencefiction.com/2017/05/24/ja ... il-reboot/Couldn't be any worse, though if Wan is continually involved they'll be knocking them out on a yearly basis after the first sequel.

Dunst Cap: Former ‘Spider-Man’ Star Shares Her Thoughts On The New MCU Reboot http://sciencefiction.com/2017/06/01/du ... cu-reboot/Nobody will remember your Spider-Man in a year or two if Sony don't fcuk this version up. And there was actually nothing wrong with Garfield; in fact he's the best Spidey yet til we see more of Holland. Truest version, great at the action and the comedy. The original trilogy is up there with the X-Men one - MTV versions of the characters, designed to please everyone, but pleasing nobody in the end. They only got the reviews they did because people were desperate for Spider-Man at that time after so many failed launches (including James Cameron). Garfield got the delayed blame for the previous movies being ropey.
