WB's THE FLASH Movie Getting Completely Rewritten As Third Overhaul Begins + BOCHINCHE! — LRM Online
http://lrmonline.com/news/the-flash-rewrite

Might as well go for it, it'll likely be a disaster no matter what. The Flash has made two sh1tty appearances already FOR NEXT TO NO REASON in some truly crap films, so this guy will hardly get the blame and could maybe help WB climb out of it's own arse. Nobody blamed Ayer for Suicide Squad, even though he started it without a script and was defending it until he could break cover.

The Highlander remake is still being worked on.
I'm hoping something good can come out of this.

Ben Affleck is not directing The Batman. Repeat, as of this moment, Ben Affleck is NOT directing The Batman.

Not surprising. They need to give him his own story separate from the dead weight but I predict they won't.

Whole thing's worth billions and Affleck was the least worst thing about the whole enterprise.

I figured this would happen the moment I heard Live By Night failed.

That's just it, Western morons keep giving WB/DC their money, and the Chinese are so desperate for Western cinema they'll watch almost anything.

Halloween: reboot coming from Danny McBride, David Gordon Green | Den of Geek
http://www.denofgeek.com/uk/movies/hall ... rdon-green

I suppose it can't get any worse... but it's not likely to get any better either. I watched the original years after release and it had no impact on me whatsoever :?
....

Clerks III dead, new Jay & Silent Bob movie coming instead | Den of Geek

...

Batman & Robin sequel was to feature Coolio as The Scarecrow | Den of Geek

...

Unlocked trailer, starring Noomi Rapace and Orlando Bloom | Den of Geek

Only watched enough to know I like the gist of it.

*Forgets how old you are, asks loudly if you want a cup of tea* :P

I'd say Halloween was effective in it's day, but it doesn't hold up in the way NOES or TCM do. Hell I'd watch part 3 again over the ones starring Myers.

Just in case you were wondering what state the DC comics movies are in...

http://lrmonline.com/news/mfr-explores- ... n-column-6

Anything that Snyder touched will be a mess, you can bank on that. Plus they'll be applying new edits/ideas/scripts not only to filming from years ago, but to characterisation that stank to start with.

I can't even shake the feeling that Wonder Woman will be their Pearl Harbour. In every sense lol.

WB keep hiring people who on paper should have a clue, and indeed that's WB's history, so that's what they expect. WB then keeps moving the goalposts. I mean if you've lost three directors in a year, multiple writers and producers, and your entire slate is in doubt one way or another... That's all on the studio, no question.
