Morning all.
I'm off to get my first haircut of the year (assuming the hairdressers is actually open). Then to pick up a parcel from my neighbour that arrived about 5 minutes after I left the house last night to go and see a film (I, Daniel Blake - very good in a thoroughly depressing sort of way).

Morning all,
feel almost human again after my bath. Our youngest daughter moved out yesterday, well, she moved into her new flat, but slept here, as she doesn't yet have a kitchen and will be back for an evening meal.
After putting up ceiling lights through the flat, my back was killing me this morning.

No real problems getting in the a.m. even with a tube strike - rather lucky in that a bus appeared just as I got to the stop and was able to shoehorn my way in

First day back at work.
As expected there is a bit of a backlog to clear up after the boss was 'covering' over my holiday. On the plus side, he's at a different site today so I've only had to deal with one relatively short phone call so far.
