Is it just me or does bad news/events wait until Friday when you work in an office?

I'm sure I've read or seen somewhere that Friday, and in particular Friday afternoon, is a popular time deliver bad news as it means people are about to leave and have the weekend to 'cool down'.

I’m not allowed to ride a bicycle through the shopping centres in town. Indeed, being a cyclist, I find that a lot of our urban spaces are limiting to cyclists. Even if I were to buy an electric bike, I‘d still be subject to the same restrictions.

It would appear, though, that if I use one of those mobility scooter things, that I suddenly have unfettered access to just about anywhere. Shopping centres, super markets, the pavement and/or roads, parks, the cinema. The more I think about it, the more I think that I should get one for my local travels. There are certainly no restrictions on who can own one other than the cash needed to cover the purchase.

First shift on an ambulance tomorrow! After 4 weeks of driver training and 8 gruelling weeks of clinical training and testing, I am both excited and nervous. Induction day today, ready to start real work with real patients tomorrow!! :D 8-)

Morning all,
I had to do some French government paperwork today and it's all online and it works!
Also I found out I'd pay quite a lot less income tax in France. Can someone tell me where the money goes in the UK? Because the amount of services you get for your money keeps shrinking and shrinking.

Most of it goes out of the UK into tax havens.

If you're ever driving through Runcton Holme wave at my step Mum lol. There's an amazing butchers there called Sargents which I highly recommend.
