Job interview. Tomorrow.
I only got the call yesterday, which is when I found out the moths had been at my only suit. This meant a mad dash to the tailors for a replacement at 4.30pm. It will be ready for pickup at 9am Monday - an hour before my ferry.
This is all a bit fast and stressy.

D is right - I live on the Isle of Wight, but the interview was on the mainland. The interview went well, incidentally - I'm waiting to hear if there is a job for me. Good luck on Thursday, big_D.

The winter snap. I'd heard there might be snow heading for today. Figured it would have been up north. But there was ice everywhere and it was -1.5*C outside. Car is on the drive so having to deal with iced up windows again. I miss not having a garage big enough for the car. Used to love going to work in a warm car.

I think we will whoever wins. Neither candidate is at all suitable. Trump is a lunatic and Clinton is very corrupt...almost worse than Blair.
