Competed it first go! I even surprised myself. And with a mouse. Tweeted my score for evidence ;)

So, is Chelmsford the birthplace pf radio (as all the sign boards proclaim), or is it the birthplace pf wireless?

A Marconi veteran says that it’s definitely wireless.

Also worth noting that there is a pub in Writtle that is where the very first radio scripts were written.

The telephone systems here in work stopped working this evening.
There's apparently a failover system in place, but some bright spark decided it would be a good idea if the failover plugged into the same unit as that which failed, so the system failed over into a failed state. *sigh*
I despair sometimes. I really do.

Red hair and blue eyes is the rarest combination in the world

The majority of natural redheads have brown eyes, with others likely to have hazel or green shades.

But like red hair, blue eye colour is a recessive trait, meaning that both parents must carry the gene for a child to be blessed with it. This makes those with red hair and blue eyes the rarest minority in the world, with only 1% having both.

So, each one is about as rare as a four-leaf clover

Interesting - neither I nor my wife have blue eyes but my son does.

Also, both my mother and brother have red hair and blue eyes, yet my dad has neither.

So, my wife and mother both cheated!

Our youngest daughter spent a week in Amsterdam with her boyfriend.

They bought back a selection of cheese, nice. And Twinkies... They are disgusting.

Brown and blue eyed genes run in my family as well.
Both my parents had brown eyes, as do both my sister and I; but my brother has blue eyes.
The blue eyed gene is recessive so anyone with Brown/Blue genes will have brown eyes. Only those with Blue/Blue genes will have Blue eyes.
