Yeah, I was saddened when I read this news at the weekend.
I'm not sure which role I recall him for the most, Fidget in Time Bandits, or Artoo.
While Star Wars doesn't rank in my personal top films list, Time Bandits is firmly in there.
Still, RIP Kenny Baker.

Creed is now available for viewing on Netflix, if anyone's interested.

Yeah, it's worth watching. Starts off a bit slow, but it's building character at least.

I'd certainly take a character name as big as Ghost Rider appearing on TV to mean that certain characters will remain TV bound. The vast majority of now TV characters were film failures too (Daredevil, Elektra, Punisher, Ghost Rider).

She got next to no screentime and it was a crap role anyway, purely for those reasons she won't be missed.

There's some cracking films in there, but some pretentious bollocks too. Mullholland Drive is the sort of wank critics pretend to love for elitism purposes only.

'Gambit' Loses Another Director As Doug Liman Exits To DC’s Dark Universe
http://sciencefiction.com/2016/08/24/ga ... -universe/

Fox is notoriously bad at this sh1t, but it's hard to blame them after the random success of Deadpool combined with the disaster that was Apocalypse. They wouldn't know what to think. My best stab would be another low budget introduction that was true to the character's best arc or arcs. Even if it fails you haven't lost anything in real terms and can use him in the 'world'.

I find it hard to believe though that Tatum is the best they could do - that dude's pretty much box office poison.

I hope that isn't true. Or he turns them down. Craig's the dullest Bond since Dalton ffs.

That already suggests they have little confidence in it. WB I mean. Similar comments have already been made about Shazam. And the movies are likely to be so much better as a result.

They didn't have a clue on that movie, did they? That's so tonally different from the finished film it's like night and day. And the work that would have gone into setting all that up... And it makes no sense that people aren't freaking out about Nightcrawler when that entire movie is about them being feared again.
