As I just posted in the EU thread, I wonder how long it'll stick this time. It would be nice if that toxic git removed himself from public life but I can't quite believe he's serious given what happened last time he stood down. Mind you, he might be figuring that UKIP could turn nasty (or nastier) when its supporters find out they've be sold a shoddy bill of goods by a lying bastard so getting out now is probably a good choice. He's probably hoping it'll all splash on someone else then he'll be able to 'reluctantly' come back at a later date and pretend none of it was his fault.

Alf Garnett? Being a fictional character isn't even a problem in British politics - one of them had a good shot at being prime minister last week. Only to be overthrown by Pob! Who now may lose to the Wicked Witch.

Given that Farage pretty much was UKIP, does they mean they're going to die a death not that a) he's left and b) we've had the referendum?

Diane James is new favourite to lead Ukip as candidate list is finalised | Politics | The Guardian http://www.theguardian.com/politics/201 ... -finalisedJust in case you're in any doubt, the other three or four contenders are properly mental. But frankly, who doesn't believe the UKIP rank and file won't fcuk her plans up with sexist remarks. Not even ones aimed at her, just in general. The press love a narrative...

She was never really leader. The paperwork was never signed off, so Farage is just continuing his tenure as Volksleader.
