This week is turning out to be crappy. I'm having trouble with sleep and technology, plus I just found out that there is no immediate plan to replace me which means giving 7 weeks notice was a pointless requirement and leaving 1 full time person doing the work of 5, with nobody at all doing health & safety. I know it's not my problem or responsibility, but I still feel bad about the sh!tstorm that's coming and it's taking a measure of the shine off my excitement!  _________________The Official "Saucy Minx"  This above all: To Thine Own Self Be True "Red sky at night, Shepherds Delight"..Which is a bit like Shepherds Pie, but with whipped topping instead of mashed potato.

Morning all, The "slight sniffles" I've had for a couple of days has turned, overnight, into a full blown snot-monster. Don't think my manager is very happy with me being off work, but I did say I'd be happy to work from home. Not entirely sure of the logic behind "if you're too sick to come in, you're too sick to work from home" but I'd rather stay at home and not infect the rest of the team with the lurgy, so sod him them! Morning all.
Last day in work this week - yay. Day off tomorrow to get the car serviced/MOT'd - less yay.
On the plus side I'm going to have lunch with my friend who is about to go on maternity leave so that should be nice.

won my case for wrongful dismisal. Now on gardening leave and waiting to hear back from my interview earlier this week.

Day off and naturally it's pissing down with rain. Still, getting the car serviced so I'm not that bothered. It should have cleared up by the time I'm done.
