Morning all. Off to my cousins wedding in Cumbria today. Transporting my little brother and his girlfriend as well. All I've got to do is find everyone and not get lost going to several places I've never been before  . What could possibly go wrong? Still, at least the weather has improved and doing this means I knock about 100 miles off my trip back home tomorrow. Have a great day folks.

Evening all. Cousins wedding was good. The B&B did a damn fine breakfast and we got to see their new (as in 8 weeks old) terrier (don't ask me what type) puppy. Shame I had to drive back on a Sunday really. I mean seriously, the number of phantom slow downs once off the 3 lane section of the A1(M) was bonkers. The number of people who apparently don't know the speed limit (as in too slow for a clear road in good weather) is shocking. To cap it off I managed to go over on my ankle while I was unloading the car. Not the best end to an otherwise good week off. Although I did cause the poor Dominos delivery bloke to have a bit of a panic attack when all I had on me was Scotish notes  .

Morning all. Ankle is killing me this morning but is definitely not quite as bad as it was yesterday. Hopefully it will continue to improve. It's nice going away on holiday but the mountain of crap I find when I come back is a bit of a bugger. My boss is nominally covering my job while I'm away so on return I have 50 outstanding jobs to deal with that should have been completed last week  Not that I was expecting anything better tbh. Have a great day folks.
