It was nearly impossible to play IIRC, and that just looks and sounds horrifically dull in comparison.

Yeah, I got the original for a quid a few years back, couldn't get out of first area. Not 'cos it was a tricky puzzle, simply because it seemed almost impossible to steer the characters around the screen.
