Depends on where the toilet is in relation to it.

Anyway, the 'roll over' is the correct way to do it. As in, it works, and the chap who originally patented it agreed. http://uk.businessinsider.com/patent-shows-right-way-to-hang-toilet-paper-2015-3

Just read the abstract. TBH with the ubiquity of the internet it's not surprising to find that there is good information out there. Often the advice is either from a fellow sufferer who may have researched or learned a lot about their problem, or from a healthcare professional.

Anecdotally I've found most advice to be sensible or relevant, with only occasionally poor information (usually from some jumped up muppet who thinks they know everything or from someone who mistrusts information on the internet or from healthcare professionals).

On a slightly related note, there was a poll yesterday on German television. People were asked, if they had a bad cold, what would they do: bed rest, an inhalation (hot bowl of water with herbs or cough inhalation mixture and towel over the head and breathe that in), cough medicine or anti-biotics.

Only around 3% responded that they would want or recommend antibiotics, the other options were pretty much evenly spread out, although cough mixture was lower than the other two.

So no “go to work and ensure everyone else has a chance of catching it” option then ;-)

I present for your consideration and electric hot water bottle. I don't think you actually put water in it, but it's a heating element surrounded by a lump of Bakelite-like substance shaped like a hot water bottle.

Just did a Tesco survey, seems pretty apparent they're considering using virtual reality tech to get people interested in their shopping, with specific mention of Oculus Rift.

*Gropes thin air as missus walks in* Shopping! I'm totally shopping!
