* Coffee is also a viable option

Funny you say that... yesterday I actually said to someone people don't like using their brains in the UK.

It's almos like we applaud stupidity

There's certainly a (fairly mild) stigma towards being very smart - and I don't just mean the obvious 'geek' thing, it does seem to be more than that. I'm not sure we applaud stupidity as much as we think people who are very smart have some sort of unfair advantage. And we do like to root for the underdog.

But you know what they say - 50% of the population are stupider than average.

It's partly a question of being self-aware I think - there are a lot of people who are so clever that they're 'too much in this world' (New York Minute) and get overwhelmed, or can see that happening and limit themselves. We all generally seek escapism and if you can't find/do something that keeps you interested... There's also the BS social aspect of it, and I mean that both for the person and society at large. The whole 'fitting in' nonsense warps many a pure perspective.

Snow - it was snowing here when I got home about 9PM. A blizzard, in fact, Very wet however it was starting to sit a bit. This morning though, bright sunshine and not a flake on the ground. Boo.

Not really much point in keeping the bread in my drawer if they're somehow fcuking up the butter tbh. I'm gonna wrap it in a plastic bag like I used to do, but I thought we were past that

Amazing how a plastic bag rustling scares off d1ckheads...

You could put a label on saying you've rubbed some, none or all of it with your knob. Do you feel lucky punk? Well, do ya?

Do what that woman did a while ago and start putting "home grown" chocolate brownies in the fridge. After a while, get HR to do a complete drug sweep.

Very kind of you to say so. IMO the immobiliser has had a fit and needs resetting. Hopefully no parts required & shouldn't take too long. We'll have to wait and see.

Tell me about it, but it's got to be done... Sounds like a good excuse to go out for a meal as well.
