So I'm moving back to the UK at the end of November.
I have to pack up everything and get rid of anything that won't fit inside a transit van.
FFS!
I have a brand new bed, sofa bed and dining table.
Plus a desk (which I'll prob get rid of), piano, tv, 2 bikes.
Ugh.
Regretting moving out here and wondering why I did it. My entire life is back home in the uk. The place sucks but I now realise that everywhere sucks. That's probably the only thing I've got from moving away.
I officially handed my notice in today. Last day is 27th November.

I know it's probably a little difficult to see right now, but well done!
You made a significant go of trying something radical and new, which takes balls frankly, and then when it hasn't worked, you've not pointlessly persevered in some sort of weird effort to justify the original decision. No one goes through life making flawless decisions, not even close, so whilst there's some logistical bollocks to deal with, I've a hell of a lot of respect for what you've done.

Thanks all.
We've scrapped the van plan for now. It's going to be around £1000 to do that. Then I need to pay for storage.
Going to speak to a moving company and see if I can get a price for doing it as slow as possible. Even if it takes several weeks that's fine because it gives me time to find somewhere to live.

I cost me about 3K to move from the UK to Bavaria and the majority of that was the mileage, so moving from Holland back to Blighty should be a lot cheaper.
