I work with idiots We have a daily process that checks the database for errors but hangs occasionally. Let's not fix the hanging - let's write a batch that kills the process instead and run it on a scheduled task.  _________________Jim

Morning all.
Yay, emergency visit to the dentist. Not only did I appear to get the trainee but they also weren't sure what was wrong so I have to see if it gets worse and go back as another emergency appointment or hold out until a scheduled one next month.
Eating food's going to be fun for the next couple of weeks.
Bah. And it's also been pouring with rain a lot here.
Still, I did escape from work for a couple of hours so it's not all bad.

Morning all.
Employer changed it's name this week so naturally all the paperwork and a lot of the technology had to be updated to reflect the new name. Its going soooo well.
We have swipe card access to buildings, or we did. The new, re-branded cards, don't work properly yet so everyone is wandering round with their new pass as well as their old pass just so they can get to where they are going.
Still, it's entertaining being proved right.
