Well, yes.
"It's just a car."
"It's just a watch."
"It's just a film."
"It's just a flesh wound."

However, seeing as it's the first one we've got, and I had a bit of hassle justifying it, and the alternatives to it are either the crappy Glidecam or the lovely Fig Rig, this is like going from a faculty 486DX at 66MHz to an i5.
Yes, it's just a computer, but sometimes it's important to what you do.

I really want to display my Predator figures in a befitting fashion - I just have neither the space nor the materials at the moment :(

End of Code Club for the year. I hope the girls going off to Big School next term are inspired to learn more.

They don't need hedgehogs! They've got the far larger and more pointy porcupine don't they?

Sure enough, told off for talking (never been a problem before), nobody is to be laughing (seriously), and for some reason one of the bosses is in unexpectedly. Yes, you can imagine the atmosphere.

On top of that, I was off for two days, so naturally somone used up nearly half my butter and didn't even bother to put the lid back on properly. Getting a bit sick of this place recently...

Not an option, long story short.

And it got worse. There's an internal suspect in who informed on a Facebook post that has been used to justify looking into us all. For everything going. The Facebook post came about as a result of a work dinner, so those have been killed off, alongside using your mobile phone, 'shopping days' at Xmas, any perk they could kill in one fell swoop. We're getting it in the neck for something the managers do also, that's what's really galling.

Something my dad told me recently. When he was in his teens, before he went off to teacher training college in London (a great story about that too), he worked for a men’s clothing shop in Nuneaton. One of his jobs was to go out with the debt collector (suits etc. were bought on tick, with weekly payments being collected). He was given an Irish Wolfhound to walk. Thing is, he said he only recently realised that this wasn’t just taking the dog for a walk while going on the rounds, he was taking a threat. Surly youth with dog lurking around = pay up or else.
