'If that ball comes into my garden again, I'll... Oh. Well, I warned you!' There were some great moments in W2, but most of it was dull or just plain weak. The villains were as bad as some of the Marvel movie lessers. And IIRC this has the same director.

Comic-Con: Why the Force was with Star Wars and not Batman v Superman | Film | The Guardian http://www.theguardian.com/film/2015/ju ... n-supermanIt's true, the BvS trailer did look pretty desperate for a film that isn't out 'til March. IIRC they did something similar with Green Lantern's promo material. The one good thing is that you have an inkling of what to avoid.

It's not that difficult to avoid watching any promo material. I haven't seen the Dawn of Justice trailer yet, and I likely won't unless I'm in the cinema and it comes on before the film I'm there to watch. Reading that article it does strike me as a bit odd that so much of the film has been released with such a long time to wait until the film is out, but I can still wait to see any of the promo material for it. I've seen a number of stills from the trailers anyway, there's probably very little need to go looking at the footage now. *shrug* Mark

I'd normally avoid watching any sort of trailer that long (I killed the video halfway through first time), but I watched the whole thing after another article said who was in it*. I'm glad I did, because there was a slim chance I might have gone to see what already looks like a cheese-scented turd. *It was one character I was curious as to how they'd handle.

Not only the first trailer for Suicide Squad, but another major DC villain turns up who will no doubt appear in other films... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLLQK9la6GoI'm really liking that, though Deadshot seems a little too unambiguous for how he's usually portrayed, maybe as a result of Smith's casting.

Joss Whedon on an Avengers: Age Of Ultron director's cut | Den of Geek http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/avenger ... ectors-cutThe film was long enough as is, but it was also quite clear they had to cut chunks out of it so many scenes feel like inserts or omissions. Hopefully deleted scenes will cover that. It's hard to know when it had the now classic Marvel thing of overloading it with references to upcoming films. I'm pretty certain there are parts of 'Age that only worked because they had Whedon. ... China’s $65 Million Dollar WWII Epic THE BOMBING (Starring Bruce Willis) Has A Very Interesting Art http://www.aintitcool.com/node/72326China could really be onto something by borrowing traditionally Hollywood talent. Though I'm starting to think that Bruce Willis has pissed off so many people he almost has to go to China.

I've just watched the trailer for the reboot Fantastic Four film. The voice of The Thing doesn't sound right.

I've already seen one trailer so I'm gonna leave it at that, though I could inadvertently catch it with Ant-man on Tuesday.

Is there anything left of my childhood TV days that hasn't now been co-opted into a 21st century remake? Origin film for Buck Rogers is being plannedI suppose Ulysses 31 is still up for grabs. Mark
