We didn't have mobile garden furniture in my day. We sat on old boxes that my Dad borrowed from the local grocers.

Boxes? You had boxes? You lucky lucky bast@rd! Don't you talk to me about boxes! When I were a lad, we had to sit on broken glass and rusty nails, wearing nowt but hand me down shorts. We used to dream of having a box.

Yep and I've sorted it all out properly now. A proper garden room  It's even possible to BBQ In the rain now

Why is it riduculous? 12% is pretty reasonable and the staff earnt it. I would be disgusted if was anything less. A lot of places add service charges as standard in London.

I've certainly seen places (outside London as well) adding service charge for large groups (say 10+). I hope to hell that bill was for more than 10 people
