I logged on hoping that pesky John_Vella would've replied to my PM, but much to my dismay, he hasn't. Now it's on my mind.
To be fair he's often on my mind.

no I hate all modern music, my car doesnt have a cd player so I cant listen to my own stuff, I just try sometimes radio1 and radio2 and radio 3 etc in hope of finding a decent song thats being played but those w$$%$&s that host the radio are just beyond awful, makes me sick to my stomach having to hear them interrupting the tracks all the [LIFTED] time,

Buy a stereo with a Bluetooth/USB function, should be dirt cheap these days.

Indeed. That was fantastic, breathless, stuff.

Disappointed but why can't rugby tournaments all be like today? Ruddy hell.

What an awesome day! I love this part of Spring where it starts to warm up during the day, the sun has been shining all day and we've achieved loads outside! The paddock is all neat with it's first cut, Harold (the ride on) performed admirably after a winter's rest and the birds had a fabulous afternoon free-ranging, helping me dig up hummocks (for the worms) and clear the fence line of brambles. My hands and arms are scratched all the heck but that's the stinkiest job of the year done :D

We even sat outside, surveying our work and enjoying a beer in the sunshine, in t-shirts for the first time all year 8-)

Things are budding, ready to burst into leaf when the last frost is over, the robins are building nests in the hedge with an industrious dedication and the lapwings are buzzing the fields while the red-tailed hawks elegantly dance high in the sky to entertain their mates. I am even treating myself to a brand new petrol lawnmower this year and I can't wait for the first mow next weekend!

My heart is very happy :D
