Everything is broken here at Disco Western Europe HQ. Luckily I still have interwebz on the PC but none on mac. Stupidly disconnected it to attend a meeting and it now can't get an IP.

Funnily enough I did a floor walk and even though I was shouting at the top of my voice some silly bitches still tried to ignore me. I soon put that right :D

Technically it's my job. However I've only used the new software once and that was a year and a half ago.

In house software called DFG 5.x (Drilling Fluid Graphics).
I used version 4.x while I was offshore. Version 5 is completely different and I've only used it once. Thankfully it's a lot more user friendly than 4.

Getting my grandfather's funeral over and done with tomorrow. I really hate the whole God aspect and being stuck in a room with family members I only see at funerals... Everybody crying etc. I have real trouble relating to much of it because I just don't react 'right' in those situations, I always feel like I'm acting for those around me.

I was talking to my auntie and it was slightly surprising just how much tradition has gone out the window... Most people are going to the service and that's it, even close family members. Some close family members will be standing at the back in case it all gets too much. A lot of the blokes won't be wearing suits. I was very happy to hear all of it as someone who feels like a bloody weirdo at funerals.

Hope it went as well as these things can.

On my mind is the awesome day I had yesterday. I took my nephews (aged 8 and 12) to Harry Potter World at the Warner Bros Studio Tour, it was fab in and of itself, but sharing it with excited kids made it so much better! I've just been looking through all the photos and it was brilliant!

We did the Science Museum during the Christmas holidays which was also great and I'm thinking our next excursion should be to Madame Tussauds. I didn't see that until I was already too old to recognise most of the 'Celebrities' so I think it'd be ace to take them while they're still young enough to be interested in the process as well as fascinated by the likenesses to people that they recognise.

No. We got together at uni. We left uni in 2000 and I started working offshore in October that year.
Having said that, I always said I wanted to work offshore while I was at uni.
