Yay!

Just booked the flights!

I'm off to Alderney for a week next month! My firend's family has a house there and she has invited me for the week!

Can't wait! It'll be my first holiday in 2 years :D

Yay :D

Good for you!

I would like a permanent holiday, I think. :(

I wish. My life right now is not a fun place to be.

But we have things to look forward to.

Yep. But we have to trudge through the next four weeks or so before we get there.

Oli, sorry for making this thread a bit of a depressing one.

Holidays FTW!
I start my four-and-a-bit weeks of holidays next Thursday (best not to mention that I'll not be going to America. Oh … ).

For the last 18 years I haven't take a holiday. I've visited family in Liverpool over Christmas, and gone to Norfolk for my Gran's birthday, I've even housesat for friends in Basingstoke for a week to look after their cats.
But not what I'd consider a real holiday, somehow. :?

I guess it all depends on your expectations of what 'holiday' actually means for you.
