I haven't had a cigarette since November 1987...

So, I bought ten Embassy and lit one up.

It was frikkin vile - so bad I binned it after a few drags.

There goes my dream of the occasional casual ciggie.

I haven't had a cigar since Feb 1st 2013 and this is the reason I can't have another one. As it stands, I've always got the option to have one if I want to, but if I did and it tasted horrible, cigars would be dead to me forever, and that would be very sad.

In other news, wow, these painkillers are really messing my head up. To use the norther vernacular "Feeling proper woozy, me."

are you allowed to drink on them?

Probably not, but since they don't do anything useful, and only serve to mess with my head, I can quite happily substitute them for whisky, as that does actually remove the pain!

35% beer? Gawd knows... it's that long since I've actually had a pint, I really couldn't tell you. This sounds like an experiment in the making!

Edit to add: Or what saspro said! lol

How long I can stay awake. I'm 21 hours into a 30 hour day. Can't even risk a power nap as I might miss my flight.

I once managed 25 hours but the last eight of those were spent surfing the net and chatting online with friends. I was incapable of anything physical.

I have otherwise managed to go to work the following day and had only two hours' sleep ie 40 hours or so with a two hour sleep somewhere in between.
