I'm quite happy that it is "only" arthritis. Now I need to take some time to figure out how many painkillers I can take to deaden the pain without messing my head up. In other news, just found out that my niece was rushed into hospital in the middle of the night. Waiting for an update from the brother. OK, back to work.

Hopefully neice is okay. As for back pain/arthritis, physio is best. Analgesia helps with mobilising and continuing physio. NSAIDs work best.

If someone's good enough in an office to give you ALL the paraphanelia to make toast, would you then use up a fifth of their butter and not bother your arse cleaning the knife?

I have 12 4TB SAS drives & a very expensive RAID card sitting on my desk But I can't use them as the supplier has sent a server with 8 bays instead of the one I was promised (and now wants another £1k to upgrade it)

Been taking Co codamol but they don't do anything for the pain. They just make me drowsy. They're keeping the niece in overnight for more tests.

I've had back pain for nearly 30 years now (another car rear-ended me at 60mph as I was stationary in a traffic jam) and there isn't a single pain killer (short of opiates) that even touch the pain, so I've had to live with the pain.

Really fancy a fry up, or even a McD's breakfast. Unfortunately the McD's breakfasts in Holland are crap and not worth going for.

If you're in Holland I'd strongly suggest a cheese and bacon pancake - they're awesome.

Not a fan of stodgy American style pancakes and I'm not a fan of cheese.

"Europe’s top court ruled Thursday that data protection rules applies to private surveillance cameras if they record people on the public footpath." What's the issue? It's a public space. If they'd made a point of only framing their property, then it's a different story. "Lazy home owners rue poor framing" might be a better title.

Have they met the security agencies? Lifting Yahoo video chat wholesale springs to mind. 'Look, so long as they don't hear about it...' Make your bloody mind up!
