Yep, caved under the pressure. The winner deserved it on the final performance though.

Indeed - scrambled egg Tarts are not a winning formula.

I did like the bit when he read out the instructions they had for the technical bake

"Make 12 Victoria sponges, Make 12 scones, Make 12 Tarts"

By the end of that she was well ahead and would only have lost if somehting had gone seriously wrong with her show stopper

Yeah, on the actual weekend the right person won.
I figured she came out just ahead in the signature bake, obviously won the technical and also did well in the showstopper.

Did feel a bit sorry for Richard as it really did just fall apart for him at the last hurdle.

Out of the three in the final Nancy was the only one I thought least deserving of being in the final.

Having said that, Nancy was the only possible winner from the performance during the final.

Not so sure about that liquorice swiss roll, I have to say. Liked the coffee & walnut cakes though.
