This is a very "Upworthy-esque" thread title.

I guess that you pick food on texture more than taste? Or require quite strong flavoured food to taste them?
I don't really do very spicy food.
Texture plays a part, for sure, but doesn't it for you as well?
I can (and do) eat really strong cheeses that other people have said stink, but I really enjoy them.

Hell no.

Looks like something from a Scottish chip shop.

Have any of you tried the maple syrup and bacon thing? Or cheese and marmalade?

No?

Just me then lol

Jam or marmalade on cheese and bread is common in Germany at breakfast.

I'm surprised Mr Bucket hasn't been in to add a beverage suggestion.

But in response to the OP, I can't say the combination appeals to me.
Having said that, and despite being Scottish, my experience of deep fried confectionery is non-existent anyway so I couldn't say either way if I'd actually like it based on other experience.

With bratwurst! :)

Don't be deft, you don't eat Bratwurst for breakfast! At the most sliced ham or Mett (raw minced beef or pork) with onion on bread - it is often called German Sushi these days.

Slightly off topic, but as I tweeted earlier, bacon does make porridge even nicer.

I tried it so you wouldn't have to...

You're all very welcome ;)

I was so horrified by the OP that I stayed away. But since you ask...

... the outrageous clagginess of the Kit-kat-cheese thing will be full of sweet, salt and umami flavours so any drink would have to be fairly strong tasting, refreshing and either bitter or sour.

My recommendation? Don't eat it. Failing that, a very dry Somerset cider or grapefruit juice.

They do in Bavaria *shrugs*

In Bavaria they eat Weißwurst with Brezl, Süßsenf and Weizenbier for breakfast. (white sausage, a pretzel shaped bread, sweet mustard and wheat beer)
