Empire Strikes Back is a fine film, but the idea it's the best film out of that list is laughable.

Yes. If someone had said have a guess at Empire's favourite films I reckon most people here would have been able to predict a large number of them, especially the Top 20 which is pretty much the same every time they do one of these.

I've just realised that I can't do this as the stupid 3D screenings get in the way, so I'll have to split the films over two days instead. Mark

You might want to give it another go? It is actually quite a well put together film. Though it is 20 years old now so maybe it's not quite as hyperactive as some films, but I really don't think that's a bad thing. Mark

Exclusive: Adam McKay In Talks To Direct ANT-MAN! http://www.aintitcool.com/node/67519I'm all for them experimenting with different genres in the Marvel movies (they're gonna have to, and one of the best, Cap. 2, is basically a thriller), but it seems this one's going to be more comedy than anything else, and Anchorman is the only thing this guy has had any real success with in mainstream terms. And let's be honest, that was patchy. Even if they pull it off, a comedy sequel is a hell of a thing! Of course, if they go the Iron Man route and make comedy just the introduction, that could be feasible. And great... ... The very cool sounding Bruce Lee biopic, BIRTH OF THE DRAGON gets a director! http://www.aintitcool.com/node/67522Oh, yes

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-v ... man-708450 'What do ya mean you've got 'ideas'!?' Marvel would appear to be looking for someone who'll just do what they're told.
