The Equalizer Movie Trailer
http://teaser-trailer.com/movie/equalizer/

Looks really generic but it could just be that seriously over-used trailer trope of slowing down minor scenes and editing up the real action

Simon Kinberg brands X-Men: Apocalypse a "disaster movie"
http://www.totalfilm.com/news/simon-kin ... ster-movie

Not news I wanted to hear - that sorta crap usually means an incredibly uneven film, often for budgetary reasons, and DOFP was already a film of two halves.

Thank heavens for that. Azkaban was by far and away the worst adaptation of the Harry Potter books.

The films are quite good in general. The first two films are very close to the books, but that does mean the pacing isn't always right. The third was poor. The forth was generally good. The fifth was a very clever adaptation of such a huge book. I'm not sure if six was okay or good. It missed a lot out, but if you haven't read the books you won't notice. Seven (split into two parts) was very good.

Antoine Fuqua Offered ‘Magnificent Seven’ Among Other Films To Direct!
http://schmoesknow.com/antoine-fuqua-of ... ect/23948/

Olympus Has Fallen was certainly better than it had any right to be, but that crap trailer for Equalizer isn't doing it any favours (though Sony seem to have faith).

I'm not even going to bother.
I'm just bored of waiting at this point.

I'm hopefully going to make a double-bill out of it and Maleficent next week.
