Anyone here read it? I Am Legend was certainly good, but that's all I've read.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 took more than $90 million at the US box-office this past weekend.
It's a safe bet we'll be seeing a third Spidey film in the not too distant future.

Why 2? I've seen at least a dozen different Spider-Man films... I also see that Spider-Man 4 is listed on IMDB; it 'was' released in 2018.

Hmm, I we've had 2 on DVD for a few years... Yet another reboot?

You're not the first to be confused by that. You had the original trilogy and now with the reboot they're on part two.

I find the reboot much better all round, but part two was a mess.

I deliberately put 'The Amazing' bit in the title and made no other reference to it just to see if the decision to ever-so-slightly retool the title of the rebooted films was working for the studio.
I guess you just proved that it's not working. (8+)

Bloody hell... In related news

http://schmoesknow.com/fans-start-petit ... n-2/22602/

It'll only work if they actually edit down the current version and replace the cut scenes, instead of just stitching them in. The film's too long as it is. And that guy isn't kidding; it's a miracle they had anything resembling a film by the end. Fox and Sony never learn.

Bourne again?

Probably best just to leave it alone for a few years and reboot it. Damon's final outing wasn't great, and 4 could have almost been any direct to video thriller.

I haven't watched Power Rangers since I was a kid. I remember the original MMPR series and how the pilot aired on a bank holiday monday (can't remember which one though). I watched it right up until Tommy was the white power ranger. The series went on a break and when it returned, it didn't feel the same. I'd also grown up by then and was more interested in other things like supersonic helicopters.
