Why? It cost $110,000,000 to make and made more than that back just in domestic US theatres. It's all about the greenback with Hollywood, so nothing surprising there. Mark

Agreed, but nobody (including it's star, original director or writer) really gave the impression there would be a sequel, especially after such average reviews and this length of time.
