I shall pour the cold water that is Defiance on your toasty warm blankets. A recent Rockne S O’Bannon creation, shown on SyFY (and nowhere else - so alarm bells are ringing already), and I think I stuck it out for about 4 episodes before I felt it was running on flat tyres and an empty tank, but, hey, the paint job’s nice. If this is where the creator of Farscape is now, I’m not going to be as excited as others about a film/miniseries/reboot. Hopefully he’s elsewhere doing other things.
