I think they must have either overestimated demand for Battlefield 4, released it in a sh1t state, or both. It's on sale absolutely everywhere, and you know something's gone a bit wrong when PSN are doing it 'cheap'.

Clearly not enough. They might have had an exclusive for a few weeks but the developers might do better by getting an exclusive deal with one console and then getting "now on our store" promotion when they open on the other console rather than having to advertise for two consoles at the same time.

Sony closing online servers for Gran Turismo 5, Resistance trilogy

Online play for MAG and SOCOM titles also ceasing

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/44 ... e-trilogy/

Considering MAG and SOCOM are pretty much online only that'll suck.

As someone who never plays online It will be no loss to me. Though I accept I might be unusual in that respect. Why don't they allow someone else run servers for those that want to play online? Or are there other motives like getting people to switch to a new console and servers instead?

Just so you know, we may or may not see something similar, though there was a January sale on anyway last time I went near the diseased store.

Sony won't offer option to disable PS4 DualShock 4 light bar

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/44 ... light-bar/

I'd no idea the battery life was that crap :o

And what have they changed in that regard to make it so bad in comparison to the DS3?

Dunno, but I very much doubt one LED is making that much difference tbh.

A fat lot of use it does you seeing as though you can’t see the bar when playing - unless your anatomy is considerably different to most people.

Played a lot of Killzone, never even noticed that.
