Out of interest I saw a recent programme that showed the inside of the offices of the Beano. It seems that the Beano is produced on a B&W Mac just like yours. CC

Nah, that can't be right. Macs are just generic bits of hardware slapped together and an Apple logo stuck on the side. Seriously, enjoy the Mac, it's a lovely bit of kit. We had the graphite models (the ones that came just after yours) at a magazine I used to work on and they were great machines.

At the ad-agency, where I work (until tomorrow), they have that same style G3 as their Mac test machine, for testing new websites etc.
Although it looks like they have noq bought a MacBook (white) as a test machine.

My parents still use their B&W G3. It's got a 500Mhz G4 chip in it now.

You know, I think I want to get a Mac.
Oh my good Lord, did I actually say that?

It's catching. I was sooooo close to buying a DP mac pro the other day it was only that bit of my brain that said "you can have better specs for half the money" that stopped me. Still considering it though

DP for Dual Proc? Three years ago for me, though I've been using and preferring Macs for the last *stops to count* nine years. Love the things.

Waiiit, you bought the same Mac as me so it's got to be coming up for three years here too.
First gen MacBook, you got yours a month or two before me right?

Aye, ordered mine two days after release, it was a Thursday in March IIRC, 2006! Doesn't seem that long... EDIT: almost right, it was a Thursday in May, they were released on Tuesday the 16th, and two days later mine was ordered...
