Why are the majority of DC movies just not very good?
I think Batman Begins was the last one I enjoyed, and the Burton Batman movies. 3 films. Meh.

From what I can gather, WB enjoys interfering. That said, IMO a lot of the recent Marvel movies have been average too (Thor, Cap, Hulk). The new Spider-Man at least shows promise over the soppy previous trilogy.

I can tell you all unequivocally that there is NO plans for a Batman/Gotham PD television show that is set in the Nolanverse between THE DARK KNIGHT and THE DARK KNIGHT RISES and show-run by Jonathan Nolan. That rumor is 100% false and you can take it to the bank. How do I know for sure? Because I asked the folks who would know and/or be involved and they told me "BS."

:( , I mean have you seen Arrow?! A Gotham cop drama from the guy behind Person of Interest?!
