It is a word that you use amongst friends, but that does not mean that it is appropriate for a magazine.

I wouldn't really call that bumf a magazine.

My office! It's 25 degrees outside but I'm sat here with my jacket on. Our aircon works through vents in the ceiling tiles and the air is flowing out with such enthusiasm that if you hold a piece of paper up to them it flaps like a flag in a wind.

Everybody else's office in the corridor is fine, in fact a bit too warm. It seems the entire building's aircon is just being routed to my desk. In fact, onto the top of my head.

You should try working in the tropics for a couple of seasons. You'll never notice the heat and humidity in Britain again.

A new client of ours is a Chiropractor. Both their offices I've been to are on the first floor (above other shops) up a steep flight of stairs.

No doubt. But I'm British and reserve the right to moan about the weather, whatever it is doing.

Sony/treyarch/blops2.

New vengeance map pack out today. Go to download it. 6.3GB!!! Turns out there's four versions and each is 1.6GB in size. Does it select the appropriate one? No. It decided I need to download all four and then it will install the correct one.

Not sure if it's a facebook mobile app fail or a wife fail.
But either way she's just had a massive over reaction to a very minor event mistake.

Domino's pizza. The local branch put their menu through the door.
One of the offers is £10 off if you spend over £30 online. Except it's not valid at the branch that put the flier through the door. The flier that includes the offer and has the address of the branch on it.

The level of fail here is impressive.

As many of you know, I have been buying the Batmobiles. Well, in the last couple there has been a leaflet that publicises a special model. To get that one, I have to ask my newsagent to get it for me. It even uses that "just ask" logo that you see in Smiths now.

So I ask. You would think that person behind the till would take my name and address. Nope. He didn't know what I was on about. He sends me to the till at the back of the shop. The seems to be where the ordered magazines are handled.

So I ask there. No bloody clue either. Girl behind till goes away to ask, and a queue starts forming. She comes back still one the wiser. Eventually, after a conversation over a radio, I am told that I have to go to the supplier directly.

So, I'm going to dig out a leaflet, and go in during the week in the hope tat the is just Saturday staff not knowing what happens bit I get no joy, I'll ask for a manager. I've also sent an email to the publishers.

Yeah, I'm gonna try and phone ahead tomorrow before traipsing into town just to be disappointed (Batman and Superman 'annuals')... what's the model?

The model is The Bat from the last film. I have no idea how big it is - but I expect it's larger than the cars.

Nice.

I wound up not going into town after getting no reply on the phone  , then looking the 'annuals' up on Amazon - pretty much £7 each at 74 pages each. Nah, don't think so.
