I would expect anything medical to be spot on for that very reason. The last thing I’d want to see is a doctor who doesn’t know what a colon is for. ;)

I decided to set up a BT ID account. So needed my account number as there is nowhere to find out from the phone number. Then you cannot be told the answer over the phone but can via an email.

Then I set up the BT ID and set up a 30 digit password. So that was all straight forward. Next I wanted to set up the BT SmartTalk app, and using the same password set up on the computer gave me a password too long error message.

Judge begs couple to end 'financial suicide' in £850,000 divorce battle

Quote:
Aloke Ray and Charoo Sekhri, a doctor and a lawyer respectively, who have a combined wealth of around £4 million, married in 2009 and have a two-year-old son.
Mr Justice Holman noted that each has spent a "staggering" £430,000 after starting divorce litigation two years later.
The judge begged them to reserve their differences and referred to their story as a “tragedy”.

Lmao. And that's only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to 'controversial' investments.

This is not necessarily their fault. Investment managers especially Hedge Funds have incredibly broad investment policies.

That's why I mentioned their other investments, getting bent out of shape about Wonga is liable to send journalists digging as we've seen.

The sum involved is minuscule in terms of the overall size of their entire investment portfolio. It probably will be missed by their investment manager. It might mean a shake up of their investment portfolio overall.

Earlier tonight I was looking at the TV listings and read the programme Piper Alpha as Papa Alpha and wondered why a whole program about Alan Partridge?

If the CoE is so bothered by the plight of the poor, why doesn't it set up a 'break even' credit union in each church and put the likes of Wonga out of business overnight? Oh yeah, it wants to help the poor, just not if it costs anything.

Jon

Actually even if they charged a sensible low rate like 10% then they would find that pushy middle classes would abuse the new credit unions. Personally the government need to cap the levels of interest rates that can be charged.
