No idea. I haven't used iTunes since I re-installed my Mac and I haven't played any music on my Windows 8 PC since I upgraded it. There is no music on my smartphones and I don't use any streaming services.

I guess most played used to be either Bryan Adam 18 'Til I Die album or The Beautiful South.

I have to confess I used my iTunes listing to identify my top tracks.

My top 5 most played songs according to iTunes:

1. Andrew Ridgley by Black Box Recorder
2. Don't Do It Again by Yamaguchi
3. Candy Jones by Darling Violetta
4. Shooting From The Hip by Chicks On Speed
5. Do Me In Once And I'll Be Sad, Do Me In Twice And I'll Know Better by Rachel Stamp

However I've also spotted that these all happen to be in the same playlist that I've been listening to a lot over the past year which might have skewed the count...

I'm just that kind of guy :D . Actually, a couple of them are on there because they're on the ipod shuffle I take to the gym but that's a pretty reasonable representation of what I listen to most of the time - a lot of electronic/dance stuff with a bit of rock thrown in.

I went through a very dancey phase for many years so a lot of my top tracks are that genre.

Supernova - Innvervision
Finally - Kings of Tomorrow
You Got The Love - Candi Stanton
So What - Bug Sonique mix

Also quite a bit of hip hop

Signs - Snoop Dog
Mesmerized - Faith Evans
Hate it or love it - Mary J Blige

Landslide by Fleetwood Mac never gets old for me, and there are loads of Queen songs that are forever fresh, I Want to Break Free springs to mind, and The Show Must Go On.

If we're talking about Queen, I have to suggest that you all revisit the early stuff. Queen II is still, in my opinion, one of the best albums ever.

Not the first time I've mentioned it on the forum, but look on YouTube for Garfield and Oakes. Not at work though, because they are funny but sweary lol

Loser in the End is one of my favourite Queen tracks (but then there are so many really good ones to pick from).

I guess this is what happens when you only play your music using Random Shuffle by song … Image

Mark

Interestingly predominantly rock, but did you skip all the tracks you did not like? When I did mine I was surprised mine did not have a lot more Kraftwerk and Jean-Michel Jarre in my list. That might be down to resetting the counter when I moved to a bigger drive.

Nope. I don't skip any tracks.
I don't listen to music that often, and when I do it's not for that long.
My entire library has pretty much been played a few times over.
Just recently I've tried to sync the iPod after around a thousand tracks have been played.
