Yes I'm bored at work. Listening to radio 2 as usual and they just had a discussion about what you would not eat in the morning?

Tomatoes? Yes in a fry up
Fish? Kippers are normal for some
Pizza? I have been known to tuck in to left overs first thing. Not sure I could manage a curry unless there really was nothing else and I was very hungry.
Gerkins? McDonalds starts serving burgers at 10.30am
Chocolate? Not an ideal breakfast but never a wrong time for chocolate or cake!

So thinking about it there's not much I wouldn't eat in the mornings.

When I'm working my morning starts around 5pm.
At which point I actually have my main meal as my breakfast.
There's absolutely, categorically nothing I wouldn't eat normally at any time of the day or night.
If I eat cereal in the middle of the night, why would I not have pasta for breakfast?
Cake and biscuits or crisps? Any time of the day.

Mark

I used to eat cereal at night a lot too. In fact for many years it was my snack when I got home.

They take the micky out of me at work for the massive box of cornflakes I have in my desk drawer.

For me, it would be dessert. Anything else goes - I've worked shifts in A&E and on-call in the hospital where I've eaten "breakfast" eg cereal/eggs etc around the clock.

Dessert on the other hand just seems wrong. Until 10am.

That's actually not a bad idea at all.
I may nick it. (8+)

I buy a 2 pint bottle of milk on Monday and that's perfect for 5 servings throughout the week (or 4 nights and some left over :) )

When cornflakes were first sold in France, they flopped as people ate them for dinner and then got really ditzy from all the sugar in them .

I used to eat sweet babyfood for breakfast til I was about 18

Didn't think there was added sugar in Corn Flakes, or if there was certainly not that much.

You've never had breakfast trifle? You've never lived. Boxing Day morning it's a necessity!

When I was about 19 or 20 my mates Mum had a kid and we always used to raid the kitchen for Farley's Rusks. (8+)
They were really tasty.

Quarter of a teaspoon per serving. By coincidence I checked yesterday as I sometimes eat them three times a day.

My favourite breakfast is trifle.
