As the statue hasn't done this before, clearly something's changed.
My money's on the foot falls causing a vibration, possibly something else has moved and it's introduced a new vibration.

The shelf isn't flat so the statue wants to move down hill as it vibrates, it's very very slowly, sliding off the shelf - but one bit of it has more friction so it is pivoting around this point as it does so. IMHO.

I think that the movement happens during the day as it seems stationary at night. We only have enough footage to see it turn 180° so it looks like you are right that it is rotating around a point. If we could see it rotate even further back around it would show that it is not on a slope.

Since the first time I heard it (a few weeks ago) I have been extremely distracted by the song Blurred lines by Robin Thicke, T.I and Pharrell Williams. I have had the song it's based on, on the tip of my tongue and I never seem to remember this when I am near a computer.

Well, this morning I woke up with Blurred Lines playing in my head and finally managed to look up the song it's reboot of. It's Marvin Gaye's "Got to give it up" and I now own it 8-)

Right, you can shut-up now brain!!

Yes so wrong.

That looks like animal cruelty to me.

Surely one of the advantages of being a dog would be the ability to lick ones own bollox... Imagine turning around to err... give yourself some grooming and coming face to face with a dragon? There isn't an emoticon available to convey the sheer terror! : lol:
