Sounds like you have similar ailments to me. I have a bruised bone in foot and a frozen shoulder.

Anything that you would both like to confess? ;)

Get well soon the both of you!

Mine isn't anything that a good dose of Calgon wouldn't fix. I have a calcium build-up on my left heel, the right one was done back on 2010, there is also an additional growth of bone on top of the heel, which is causing problems. It is also rubbing against my Achilles tendon. I'll be glad when the operation is over, then I should be able to walk again, without too much pain.

The tennis elbow comes from too much work with the mouse and keyboard.

Are there any things that you can do to lessen it? It would be an industrial injury. Though regular breaks might help. Hard to do if you are on a deadline.

My Mum sold hers for over £200k and that was in Barnet North London and it didn't even have a bathroom. That was back in 2011.

Ahh but whats your rent - you can then work out the rate of return. With people getting less than 1% in a bank it then might become a valid place to put your money

We just had a thunderstorm. Our 300 litre water barrel was full in under 15 minutes!

A world map of geotagged tweets

It's split by mobile platform, but that's not what I find interesting. What I find interesting is how much the patterns follow major arterial roads. You'd expect in urban areas to have a much more uniform spread, but it seems not to happen once you get out of major city centres. Do people not tweet at home?

Intriguing. The statute seems to move during the day due to resonant vibration. It looks like the motion is dependent on people walking about. The base cannot be perfectly flat.

The shelf isn't flat so the statue wants to move down hill as it vibrates, it's very very slowly, sliding off the shelf - but one bit of it has more friction so it is pivoting around this point as it does so. IMHO.

I thought it was pivoting because of the weight - ie one part would be heavier and this is the bit that would point down the slop first and is why it doesn't completely spin but just turns.
