the pen costs a "cheap" £255, but if I make it to 20 years I can get £1000 towards a permanent gift and a silver photo frame.

I think the watch was about £40 at the time.
The funniest bit though, was that you also got a A4 sized, inch thick, black felt covered box. You opened it up and there was a tiny Halliburton keyring in the middle. I had to take one of those offshore once for a guy on the rig. The security woman at the heliport was pissing herself laughing when she opened it.

So, this evening, I was sort of invited to cut together a showreel for the burlesque performer, Anna Fur Laxis.
I was on my way out to dinner (god parents are visiting), but thanks to the phone, was able to get together some ideas with her via Facebook from the car whilst we drove to dinner.
Come back from dinner, message her to outline my thoughts further only to be told some Italian chap has already got a cut together!
The power of the internet eh?

Kanye West is the new Steve Jobs, says Kanye West

Jesus, he's not even the old Kanye West never mind anyone else... I'm reminded of an old Armstrong and Miller sketch

'I am Satan, prince of darkness!'

'No, you run a small printing company in Slough...'

Very similar to Doubelzout. Also exists in liquid form.

Cool, the Brand President of Speedo is on the Queen's Birthday honours list, seems we'll have to start calling him "Sir President" now :)

Speedo president recognised

Although the business is now international its warehouse and central distribution centre are still based in Nottingham.

Other Nottinghamshire figures named in the Birthday Honours list include David Robinson, president of Speedo International, which has its headquarters in Nottingham.

Mr Robinson is being appointed OBE for services to economic development in the East Midlands.

I've turned down an invite to the Miss England after show party this evening.
Am I getting too old?

Too old for what, exactly?
Do you feel too old (for whatever it is you are basing your arbitary judgement on)?

Sounds like you have similar ailments to me. I have a bruised bone in foot and a frozen shoulder.
